Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to join their team based in Yorkshire

JOB DETAILS
PAY RATE: £300 per day
WORK TYPE: Temporary
WORK PATTERN: Hybrid 3 days in the office
LOCATION: Yorkshire

JOB SUMMARY
Operations Manager to lead adult social care services and wellbeing initiatives. This senior leadership role is pivotal in delivering our adult social care vision, ensuring high-quality, person-centred services that meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, oversee CQC-regulated services, and work collaboratively with internal teams, Health partners, the Third Sector, and community groups. The role involves strategic input into service transformation, budget management, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of service users and staff.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
*Lead and manage multi-professional teams, including qualified social workers and associated professionals.
*Ensure statutory compliance, safeguarding, and adherence to CQC standards.
*Develop and deliver services using strength-based, person-centred approaches.
*Manage budgets, resources, and performance to achieve service objectives.
*Promote innovation, partnership working, and integrated approaches across health and social care.
*Deputise for the Service Manager as required.


THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
*Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject; recognised health and social care qualification desirable.
*Registered with the appropriate professional body.
*Proven experience in adult social care management, including safeguarding and CQC-regulated services.
*Strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills.
*Experience managing budgets, performance, and service transformation initiatives.
*Ability to work in a politically sensitive environment with sound judgement.
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (adjustments considered).
