Contract Type: Locum, Full-Time, Ongoing
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Pharmacy Technician to join the Medicine Reconciliation Team in Southend-on-Sea. *Carry out accurate medication reconciliation for adult inpatients, ensuring patient safety.
*Work directly on wards, engaging with patients and clinical teams.
*Support dispensary services, including potential ACT (Accuracy Checking Technician) responsibilities.
*Assist with safe and efficient medication dispensing in line with regulations.
*Collaborate with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and wider teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
*Qualified Pharmacy Technician with at least 2 years’ experience in medication reconciliation.
*HCPC registration is essential.
*A driving licence is desirable for working across multiple sites.
