Immediate Start
Location: Basildon, Essex
Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday–Friday)
Salary:£24,000 – £26,000 DOE

We’re recruiting on behalf of an established compliance and environmental services provider who play a vital role in improving building safety, protecting communities, and supporting better environmental standards across the UK. They’re now seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Admin Assistant to join their friendly, supportive team in Basildon.

Key Responsibilities
Your role will be varied, fast-paced and genuinely engaging, including:
*Front-of-house & reception duties – welcoming visitors, managing incoming calls and representing the business with professionalism and warmth.
*Office coordination – supporting the administrative flow of the business, organising filing systems, managing post, and ensuring the workspace operates efficiently.
*Client communication – preparing letters, assisting with booking confirmations and supporting service teams with timely, accurate information.
*Stock & supplies management – taking ownership of uniform and office supply ordering to keep operations running seamlessly.
*Systems & portal updates – maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is up to date for internal teams and clients.
*General support – providing valuable admin assistance across multiple departments, making you a central part of the business.
Training & Development
No sector experience is needed — just the right attitude.
You’ll receive full, one-to-one training on all systems, processes and tasks, plus ongoing support from a collaborative and welcoming team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to grow, learn and build a long-term administrative career.
