Who you will work with
Our client is a well-established global financial services organisation that provides a broad range of investment and asset management solutions to clients worldwide. With a strong presence across international markets, the firm supports individuals, institutions, and businesses in achieving their long-term financial objectives.

What you’ll do
*Lead governance research across EMEA markets, analysing regulatory developments, proxy voting practices, and corporate governance trends to inform stewardship policy.
*Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate existing voting guidelines and develop evidence based recommendations tailored to regional markets.
*Produce research papers, presentations, and statistical insights that support senior leadership in assessing complex voting matters and engagement outcomes.
*Review and refine stewardship policies, ensuring global guidelines remain aligned with EMEA governance standards and evolving best practices.
*Partner with global colleagues, business stakeholders, and external research providers to advance EMEA initiatives and strengthen regional insight within the stewardship framework.
*Support team capability by sharing expertise on governance developments, contributing to training, and participating in projects that enhance the organisation’s stewardship approach.

What you bring
*Experience in corporate governance or investment stewardship within EMEA markets, with exposure to governance practices in at least one or two countries in the region.
*Strong research capability, including qualitative and quantitative analysis to support governance or policy related work.
*Ability to produce clear written outputs such as policy papers, research reports, and briefing materials.
*Effective communication skills with experience collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
*Demonstrated project leadership, including coordinating cross functional initiatives or research projects.
*Understanding of stewardship frameworks, proxy voting considerations, and evolving governance standards.
