Do you have experience of managing import and / or export airfreight shipments? Confident booking cargo with airlines and handling documentation? How about Class 1 Dangerous Goods trained - now that’s a big ask do training can be provided. The Role:
As an Airfreight Forwarder, you will be responsible for the start to finish process of moving import & export shipments by air. You will be commercially minded with a real passion for moving freight & solving problems for time critical cargo (commercial & military arms & equipment).

Your responsibilities will also include;
*Negotiating and booking cargo with airlines / carriers.
*Managing documentation flow, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin & Licences.
*Shipping explosives, weapons & defence equipment.
*Arranging collection / delivery and managing all the way to final destination.
Essential Criteria:
*Import or Export experience (ideally both)
*Commercially minded
*Excellent communication

Salary & Benefits:
For the right candidate our client is looking to pay between £30-38k for the right person along with benefits, company bonus & free parking. Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm
