Description
*Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant regulations and standards.
*Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting processes.
*Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
*Manage reconciliations, including bank accounts and balance sheets.
*Support the budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
*Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
*Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.
*Assist in the implementation of process improvements within the finance department.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
*A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience in Accounting & Finance.
*Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
*Experience in the housing sector is advantageous but not essential.
*The ability to work effectively in a temporary position in Manchester
*3-6 months initial contract
