Vehicle Technician
*Annual Salary: £31,000 - £37,500 (OTE £41k)
*Location: Exeter

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client’s dynamic team. This role involves carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs across a diverse fleet of vehicles and specialist equipment, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency in line with legislation and manufacturer guidelines.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance of the Trust’s fleet and equipment to ensure safety.
*Organise and contribute to the planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, and repairs of vehicles and devices.
*Perform fault diagnosis and repairs, including electrical/electronic issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
*Communicate with various stakeholders to understand and investigate problems, ensuring the safety of staff and patients at all times.
*Manage vehicle and equipment repair procedures, ensuring timely repairs within manufacturers’ standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*HND in Mechanical/Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience/training.
*Recognised Motor Vehicle Indentured Apprenticeship or equivalent training scheme.
*Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and a variety of complex tools for technical repairs.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform complex fault finding.
*Knowledge of quality management systems ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2012 is desirable.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
