Assistant Aftersales Manager – GuildfordSalary: £43,000 – £49,000 + Company Car
Location: Guildford
Hours: Full-time, including Saturdays (rota)
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Aftersales Manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy aftersales department in Guildford. This role will involve overseeing the service and parts operation, driving performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities*Supporting the Aftersales Manager in running the service and parts departments
*Managing and motivating the Service Advisor and Workshop teams
*Driving departmental performance, productivity, and profitability
*Monitoring KPIs including labour sales, efficiency, and CSI scores
*Handling customer escalations and ensuring issues are resolved professionally
*Ensuring smooth workshop loading and effective job allocation
*Supporting training and development of the aftersales team
*Maintaining high standards of compliance and dealership processes
Requirements*Previous experience as a Senior Service Advisor, Workshop Controller, or Assistant Aftersales Manager
*Strong leadership and team management skills
*Proven ability to drive performance and hit targets
*Excellent customer service and communication skills
*Good understanding of aftersales operations and KPIs
*Full UK driving licence
Desirable*Main dealer background
*Experience with Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar DMS
*Strong commercial awareness
