Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Maidstone
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Engineer with a few years of industry experience to join a well-established and growing consultancy in Maidstone, Kent. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step from an entry-level position into a more autonomous, technically involved role, working across a diverse portfolio of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects.
You will be joining a collaborative team of specialist consultants, gaining exposure to a wide range of ground investigation, geotechnical design, and environmental projects, with clear opportunities for career progression and professional development.
The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:
*Competitive salary (£30,000 - £38,000), depending on experience

Key responsibilities of the Geotechnical role will include:
*Planning, supervising, and managing ground investigation projects
*Logging soil and rock in accordance with current standards
*Interpreting ground investigation data and preparing factual and interpretive reports
*Undertaking geotechnical assessments and producing design recommendations (e.g. foundations, earthworks)
*Carrying out and reviewing contaminated land risk assessments
To be considered for this Geotechnical Engineer role you should have:
*A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geoscience, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
*Relevant industry experience
*Strong report writing and data interpretation skills
*Live in or near to Maidstone
*A full, clean UK driving licence
*Eligibility to work in the UK
