You’ll be joining a well-established organisation within the tourism and leisure industry, known for its strong community presence and commitment to delivering exceptional service. The business is experiencing a period of growth and is now looking to strengthen its finance team with an experienced Accounts Payable professional. You’ll be part of a supportive, friendly, and collaborative environment.
Your new role
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end purchase ledger process. Your responsibilities will include:
*Processing high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently
*Managing supplier queries and building strong working relationships
*Reconciling statements and resolving discrepancies
*Supporting month-end processes
*Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
This is a full-time, site-based position working 37.5 hours per week, with flexible shifts of 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. The role is initially offered on a 3-6-month contract, with strong potential to become permanent.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Confident communication skills when dealing with suppliers and internal teams
*Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
*Good working knowledge of finance systems and Excel
