Lettings Manager – Colchester


Salary: £35,000–£40,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE £65,000–£75,000)
Car Allowance: £250/month




Overview


Our client is seeking a confident and ambitious Lettings Manager to drive growth and lead from the front. Established in 2008 and continuing to scale, the business requires someone who thrives on new business generation, builds strong landlord relationships and energises a high-performing lettings team. This role focuses on winning new managed properties and reactivating a large existing landlord base.


Key Responsibilities
*Managing inbound enquiries and developing long-term client relationships
*Re-engaging a database of 3,000+ let-only landlords
*Securing new landlord instructions through proactive calls and follow-ups
*Attending valuations and external client meetings
*Prospecting daily to grow the managed portfolio
*Leading, developing and supporting a team of Negotiators
*Monitoring KPIs and contributing to smooth lettings operations
