Job Description:
Owen Reed is looking for a Document Production Specialist – Night Shift for a top law firm in the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced document production professional to join a growing and high-performing team. Working in a fully remote night shift role, you will produce high-quality legal, business development and internal documents, ensuring accuracy, consistency and exceptional service across the firm.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30pm to 6:30am
Working pattern: Fully remote
Location requirement: Candidates must be able to attend the Manchester or Leeds office for interview and training
The RoleThe Document Production Specialist will be responsible for producing and formatting a wide range of documents and correspondence in line with house style templates, client requirements and firm precedents. This role is ideal for a detail-focused professional with strong Microsoft Office skills and previous experience in a busy document production environment.
You will support fee earners and business development teams across UK and international offices, delivering accurate work to tight deadlines and maintaining a consistently high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities*Produce high-quality and accurate documents in line with firm house style and client-specific formatting requirements
*Ensure formatting consistency and attention to detail across all work produced
*Deliver documents within agreed deadlines and communicate any issues promptly
*Work on a wide range of legal, marketing, training and internal documents
*Resolve technical document issues and identify alternative solutions where needed
*Liaise with relevant teams to ensure queries and issues are resolved efficiently
*Follow instructions carefully and deliver work in the requested format
*Confidently raise questions where clarification is needed
*Adhere to firm risk and compliance procedures at all times
*Support the wider team in delivering a fast, responsive and high-quality document production service
Skills and Experience*At least 2 years’ experience in document production or a comparable document formatting environment
*Strong experience working with complex documents and multiple document formats
*Good understanding of document styles and formatting principles
*Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including strong Word formatting ability
*Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
*Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
*Strong communication skills and a professional approach
*Proactive, flexible and client-focused mindset
*Experience gained within a legal or professional services environment would be advantageous
