The role of Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Fit-Out will involve:
*Estimator position dealing with a range of manufactured bespoke joinery and fit-out projects within the commercial sector
*Review tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines
*Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
*Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
*Producing formal quotations to customers
*Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
*Working on projects ranging in value from £50k to £3m
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Fit-Out with
*Must have estimating experience within joinery, manufacturing, or fit-out sectors
*Candidates from a manufacturing background are highly desirable
*Open to estimators from manufacturing, even without joinery or fit-out experience
*Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
*Highly organised with good attention to detail
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
*Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
*Ability to work in a fast paced environment
*Good team player who also works well individually
