The role:
We’re working with a well-established and values-driven business based in East Leeds to find an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy finance team. You’ll be working for a company that is set for some impressive growth due to future acquisitions on the horizon.

Sitting within a supportive finance team, you’ll take ownership of the purchase ledger function, keeping things running smoothly from PO processing through to supplier payments and reconciliations.
Key responsibilities:
*Managing the end-to-end purchase order and invoice processing
*Preparing and executing the monthly supplier payment run
*Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
*Performing daily bank reconciliations
*Monitoring accounts and orders inboxes and responding to supplier queries
*Supporting audit preparations and ensuring financial compliance
About you:
*Solid experience in accounts payable/purchase ledger
*Confident with accounting software and Excel
*Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
*A great communicator who can liaise with suppliers and internal teams
