Remedy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ASD Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and vibrant SEN Secondary school in Greenwich. This is an excellent opportunity for an ASD Teaching Assistant who is looking to take on a rewarding new challenge and make a meaningful difference in a child’s educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide 1:1 support as an ASD Teaching Assistant for a pupil with mild Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
*Monitor and report on the child’s progress, achievements, and individual needs
*Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
*Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, promoting equality and inclusion
*Encourage social interaction and active participation in classroom activities
What We’re Looking For
*A basic understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and learning barriers
*Experience working with children or young people in an educational or training setting
*A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach
*A genuine passion for supporting children in a role such as ASD Teaching Assistant
