Infrastructure Engineer | West Yorkshire (3 days on site) | 6 month contract (initially) | Data center
We’re looking for an Infrastrcuture Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise testing environment based within a data centre setting in West Yorkshire.
This role sits within a dedicated lab function responsible for pre-production validation and solution testing. Understanding enterprise infrastructure end-to-end will be key with this role.
You’ll be responsible for:
*Operating and maintaining a large enterprise lab environment
*Translating infrastructure requirements into structured test builds
*Validating firewall, switching, storage and virtualisation configurations
*Supporting enterprise-level compute, storage and network environments
*Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
*Managing workflows and documentation via JIRA
Essential Experience
*Strong VMware experience (enterprise virtualisation environments)
*Deep knowledge of firewall technologies
*Experience working with Juniper networking environments
*Hands-on experience with enterprise switches
*Block storage and enterprise storage technologies
*Compute virtualisation in large-scale environments
*Experience working within enterprise-level organisations
*Strong troubleshooting and technical validation capability
Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing contract.
Must be eligible to live and work in the specified work location . Some occasional travel maybe required. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
