Job Title: Production Line Operative
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Salary: £12.21 Rising to £12.71 on 1st April 2026
Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Production Line Operatives to join our team in Southend-on-Sea. You will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the production line, ensuring products are assembled, handled, and packed efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Operate machinery and equipment on the production line
*Assemble products according to company specifications
*Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
*Pack, label, and prepare goods for dispatch
*Maintain a clean and safe working environment
*Follow all health and safety procedures
*Report any faults, damages, or production issues to supervisors
*Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
Requirements
*Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
*Good attention to detail
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Strong teamwork and communication skills
*Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
*Basic understanding of health and safety practices
Physical Requirements
*Ability to stand for long periods
*Capable of lifting and moving items (within safe limits)
