Job Description:
System Architect
Software is a core capability for my client, supporting the delivery of complex, high impact systems across sectors including healthcare, communications, and industrial technology.
The System Architect will play a key role across the full lifecycle from early concept and system definition through to delivery working closely with clients and leading both technical direction and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
*Define and own high level system architecture for complex software-driven products
*Translate ambiguous requirements into clear, scalable, and secure system designs
*Lead architectural decisions, including technology selection and system trade-offs
*Oversee delivery to ensure alignment with architectural intent
*Engage with stakeholders at both technical and commercial levels
Key Requirements
*Proven experience designing complex, end-to-end software systems
*Expertise in system architecture and high-level design
*A strong academic background from A levels
*Experience leading projects, teams, and budgets in a commercial environment
*Ability to operate across the full development lifecycle, from concept to delivery
*Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
*Embedded C/ C++
