Commercial SME Account Handler – £30,000–£35,000 – South Leeds – Hybrid Working
Manage your own portfolio of commercial clients, build strong insurer relationships, and develop new business opportunities within a growing, high-performing insurance team.
We’re recruiting for a client-focused Account Manager to join a successful Commercial team based in South Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with insurance or broking experience looking to take the next step in a supportive and ambitious environment.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for growth.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing and developing a portfolio of commercial clients
*Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and client queries
*Identifying new business and cross-selling opportunities
*Building strong relationships with insurers and stakeholders
*Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance processes
*Supporting team objectives and contributing to overall growth
This is a varied, client-facing role where you’ll play a key part in delivering a high-quality service experience.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who:
*Has experience in commercial insurance
*Is confident managing client relationships
*Has strong communication and organisational skills
*Takes a proactive, solutions-focused approach
*Works well within a collaborative team environment
Experience with systems such as Acturis would be beneficial but not essential.
