Job Description:
The Company
Our client is a market leading manufacturing company due to a sustained period of growth they are now looking to recruit a Development Technician.
The Role
*Lamination of exterior films using hot-melt adhesives and primers.
*Carrying out various material testing.
*Evaluating and analysing pigments and developing pigment formulations.
*Assisting with New Product Development and trials.
*Using accelerated weathering cabinets to test samples in simulated conditions.
*Will work on site 35.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 9am - 5pm, Friday: 9am - 3pm.
The Person
*Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or Polymer Science (essential).
*Knowledge of Colour Chemistry/Pigment Technology (desirable).
*Experience of working in a laboratory environment (desirable).
*Must have a full UK Driving Licence, be able to drive and have access to a car (essential).
*A clear communicator and self-motivated.
