Senior to Associate level Civil Engineer
Salary: £50k - £70k DoE
Location: Birmingham
Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer ready to take ownership of projects and step into a more senior, influential role?
A well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is growing its Birmingham team and looking to appoint a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support a strong pipeline of residential and mixed-use developments across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, design-led business where you will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions.
The Role
You will be responsible for leading infrastructure design and delivery across a range of development schemes, working closely with clients, local authorities and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing your own projects from feasibility through to construction
*Leading the production of drainage, highways and infrastructure designs
*Preparing and reviewing S38, S278 and S104 submissions
*Producing planning and technical design packages
*Liaising with clients, stakeholders and approving authorities
*Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
*Contributing to team management and project delivery
What They’re Looking For
*Min 5 years’ experience in infrastructure or civil engineering
*Strong background in residential development projects
*Solid knowledge of UK drainage and flood risk design
*Experience with S38, S278 and S104 approvals
*Proficiency in AutoCAD, Causeway PDS and drainage software
*Confident communicator with strong project ownership
