Software Engineer - SC Cleared - London - Hybrid - £500 to £600 per day
FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a brilliant Consultancy to assist with their recruitment of a SC Cleared Software Engineer to join their team working on a large government project in London.
The successful candidate will be a skilled Software Engineer with a strong focus on hands on coding. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust, scalable applications and contributing directly to the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
*Design, develop, and maintain software applications for public sector clients
*Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
*Work primarily with C# and JavaScript to build modern, secure systems
*Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet user needs
*Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
*Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing codebases
*Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards
Requirements:
*Strong experience in software development, with a focus on coding
*Proficiency in C# and JavaScript
*Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
*Experience writing and maintaining production-quality code
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
*Experience working within or delivering projects for the UK public sector
*Familiarity with modern development frameworks and tools
*Understanding of secure coding practices and government standards
*Valid SC Clearance
