Job Description:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and hands-on Office Manager to join a busy service administration team in Coventry. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term progression for the right candidate.

The Role
As Office Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy service office, ensuring processes run smoothly, customers receive a high level of service, and the team is supported and performing effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily running of a fast-paced service administration office
Manage and support a team, ensuring workloads are balanced and deadlines are met
Ensure all administrative processes are followed accurately and consistently
Act as a point of escalation for customer queries and ensure timely resolution
Maintain clear and professional communication with customers throughout the service process
Monitor workflow and ensure tasks are completed within required timeframes
Oversee parts dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Support wider office functions when required - a hands-on approach is essential
Identify process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and customer experience
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Proven experience managing or supervising an administrative or service-based team
Strong customer service background with a solutions-focused mindset
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
Confident IT skills, including intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data filtering)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A flexible, proactive, and hands-on approach
Desirable:
Experience within a service, engineering, or parts-based environment
Knowledge of service management systems or CRM platforms
Personal Attributes
Proactive and confident with a strong sense of ownership
High attention to detail
Team-oriented with a supportive and positive attitude
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
