The RoleThe successful Nursery Teacher will take full responsibility for a Nursery class, delivering a rich and engaging EYFS curriculum that supports all areas of early development.
Key responsibilities include:
*Planning and delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences
*Supporting early communication, language and social development
*Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
*Observing, assessing and tracking pupil progress
*Building strong relationships with parents and carers
*Working closely with Early Years support staff and the EYFS lead
The Ideal CandidateThe school is looking for a Nursery Teacher who:
*Holds QTS and has recent EYFS teaching experience
*Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
*Is confident delivering a play-based, child-centred curriculum
*Demonstrates excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management
*Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
Experience in a Nursery setting is highly desirable.
