Overview
We are working on behalf of a highly regarded planning consultancy to appoint a talented Town Planner to join their growing Leeds team. The Role
As a Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of planning projects across sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You will be involved in managing planning applications, providing strategic advice to clients, and supporting senior team members on complex schemes.
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
*Providing clear, commercially focused planning advice to clients
*Engaging with local authorities and key stakeholders
*Supporting project delivery from inception through to completion
*Monitoring planning policy and regulatory changes
*Contributing to business development and client relationship management
About You
*MRTPI qualified (or working towards accreditation)
*Proven experience within the private sector is essential
*Strong understanding of the UK planning system
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
*Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving
