The Role
A client-focused payroll position within an accountancy practice, managing multiple payrolls across a varied portfolio.
You will be responsible for delivering accurate, end-to-end payroll services while liaising with clients, HMRC, and pension providers.
Key Responsibilities
*Process end-to-end payroll for multiple clients (weekly, monthly, directors, bonuses)
*Manage starters, leavers, and payroll changes
*Submit RTI filings and complete year-end processes
*Administer pensions and auto-enrolment
*Handle BACS payments
*Respond to client and employee payroll queries
*Maintain accurate payroll records and compliance
*Liaise with HMRC and external providers
The Ideal Candidate
*2+ years’ payroll experience
*Experience managing multiple payrolls
*Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
*Experience with payroll systems (Sage 50 desirable)
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Excellent communication and client-facing ability
*Proactive and able to work both independently and in a team
