Job Description:
Role: Manufacturing Assembler / Operator
Location: Groby, Leicester
Duration: 12 months- Contract
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Assembler / Operator to join a production team based in Groby, Leicestershire. This role involves working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, assembling electromechanical components and supporting production targets.
Key Responsibilities
*Carrying out duties within the production line as instructed by the line manager
*Assembling electromechanical components to required specifications
*Following technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
*Adhering to the company’s health and safety procedures.
*Supporting team objectives across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and compliance
*Contributing to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
*Rotating across key processes as required
Skills & Experience Required
*Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
*Ability to read and understand technical drawings
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to multitask and work across different stages of production
*Soldering experience to recognised standards (e.g., J-STD / IPC) is desirable but not essential
