About the RoleRemedy Tutors are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a primary SEN school setting in Peterborough.
This is a morning-only role (3 hours per day), ideal for candidates looking for consistent, part-time work while making a meaningful difference.
What You’ll Be Doing*Provide targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
*Assist in delivering engaging, structured learning activities
*Support children with:*Autism (ASC)
*SEMH needs
*Learning difficulties

*Help manage behaviour and support emotional regulation
*Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
*Follow EHCP targets and individual support plans
Working Pattern*Monday to Friday
*Morning hours (approx. 3 hours per day)
*Based in a primary SEN school in Peterborough
What We’re Looking ForEssential:
*Experience working with children with SEN
*Previous role as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or similar
*Ideally a Teaching Assistant qualification
*2 years experience in Teaching Assistants
*2 years SEN Experience
*Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
*Strong communication skills
