Requirements:
*Solid experience working with children or young people in settings such as schools, youth clubs, or child care.
*Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with teenagers and staff.
*A calm, patient approach when handling challenging situations or complex needs.
*An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
Key Duties:
*Provide 1:1 and small group academic support for students aged 11-16.
*Assist class teachers in managing classroom behaviour and student engagement.
*Help deliver pre-planned lesson materials across various secondary subjects.
*Foster a positive, disciplined, and productive learning environment.
*Guide students through Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum goals.
*Act as a positive role model for teenagers within a mainstream school setting.
*Monitor and report on student attendance and academic participation.
