Job Description:
Join a high-performing BD team and play a key role in driving business growth through winning work. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Bids & Pursuits professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, client-focused proposals within the Financial Services sector of a large global law firm.
You’ll work closely with partners, stakeholders, and business development teams to shape compelling bid strategies and produce standout submissions that support strategic growth. You will support the end-to-end bid lifecycle—from qualification through to submission and post-bid review. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to develop clear win themes, produce engaging content, and ensure best practice across all pursuits.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage and support the full bid and pursuit process, ensuring high-quality, client-centric submissions
*Collaborate with stakeholders to define strategy and articulate clear win themes
*Write, edit, and refine compelling proposal content tailored to client requirements
*Conduct client and market research to inform pursuit strategy
*Support presentations, stakeholder briefings, and bid aftercare activities
*Ensure consistency, compliance, and excellence in all submissions
*Contribute to the development of bid tools, content libraries, and pursuit technology
*Analyse bid performance and feedback to drive continuous improvement
*Champion best practice in writing, design, and bid methodology
About You
Essential Experience & Skills
*1–3 years’ experience in bids, pursuits, or proposals (legal or professional services preferred)
*Proven ability to support successful bid outcomes
*Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
*Excellent project management and organisational skills
*Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
*High attention to detail and strong visual awareness for proposal design
*Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint)
*Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative approach
