Role: Delivery Manager (SFIA Level 5)Rate: £500–600 per day
Clearance: Active SC clearance required
Location: Remote-first, with 2–3 days per month onsite - either London, Milton Keynes or East Kilbride
Start Date: April (early/mid-month)
Initially 3 month contract, then 6 months - long-term commitment.
OverviewA leading consultancy is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to support a central government client on a strategic initiative focused on improving how policy is developed, delivered, and tracked—particularly within a digital context.
The programme is driven by senior stakeholders across strategy and digital functions, aiming to create a more joined-up approach between policy development and digital delivery, while enhancing visibility of outcomes and impact.
Key Experience Required*Strong experience in government digital delivery
*Experience working within or alongside government policy functions in a digital environment
*Active SC clearance (essential)
*Proven ability to manage delivery across complex stakeholder environments, ideally within central government
*Consultancy experience or experience delivering via a consultancy model is advantageous
Additional ContextThis role sits at the intersection of policy and digital transformation, requiring someone comfortable operating between strategic policy discussions and hands-on delivery within a consultancy-client environment.
