*Prepare and review group consolidated financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
*Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and internal policies.
*Provide technical accounting guidance to internal stakeholders.
*Support the audit process, liaising with external auditors and resolving queries.
*Analyse financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
*Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
*Collaborate with finance teams across the group to ensure accurate reporting.
*Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.
Profile
A successful Group Consolidation and Technical Accountant should have:
*A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
*Strong knowledge of group consolidation processes and financial reporting standards.
*Experience in the energy and natural resources industry is advantageous.
*Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
*Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
*Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
