Junior Content Designer
Rate: £400 - £450 per day Umbrella
Hybrid role: <1 day per week on site in Corsham

Contract duration: 3 months with likely extensions
Junior Content Designer
As a Junior Content Designer, you’ll create clear, user-centred content for digital.mod, ensuring all information is simple, accurate and aligned to GDS style and accessibility standards. You’ll work closely with the UX/UI designer to make sure content fits seamlessly into agreed layouts and Figma components, and support iterative improvements based on user insights.
Core Responsibilities
*Write, edit and structure content so it is simple, clear and easy for users to understand.
*Follow GDS content standards, agreed templates and tone-of-voice guidance.
*Use research, data and feedback to improve clarity and usability.
*Work closely with the UX/UI designer to ensure content fits naturally into the agreed page layouts and component patterns.
*Support publishing and accuracy checks, ensuring all content meets accessibility requirements.
*Collaborate with researchers and designers in an agile, multidisciplinary team.
*Work with service owners and content creators from across MOD to create signed-off content.
