Production Operative – Night Shift
Location: Coventry (CV2)
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 10pm–7am (night shift)
Salary: £12.50 per hour + £75 weekly shift allowance (approx. £29,900 per annum)

Empowered Personnel is recruiting Production Operatives for a well-established manufacturing site in Coventry (CV2). This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking stable, long-term employment with a consistent 4-night working week.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Loading jigs onto the correct tooling in line with production specifications
- Ensuring all components are positioned accurately to maintain quality standards
- Unloading finished jigs and transferring them safely to the next stage of the process
- Carrying out thorough visual inspections to identify defects or inconsistencies
- Reporting faults, defects, or equipment issues promptly to supervisors
- Following detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures at all times
- Maintaining accurate records where required (e.g. production counts or quality checks)
- Ensuring all work is completed within set timeframes to meet production targets
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE
- Keeping workstations clean, organised, and free from hazards
- Supporting team members and contributing to overall production efficiency

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable
- Ability to follow instructions and work to strict processes and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks while maintaining consistency and accuracy
- Good level of manual dexterity and ability to handle small or detailed components
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and carrying out manual handling tasks
- Basic understanding of health and safety within a production environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a permanent night shift pattern
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
