The Company
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to take full ownership of management accounting across two operational sites. This role will suit someone who enjoys working closely with the business, delivering meaningful insights, and driving continuous improvement across finance and operations.

The Role
Management Accounts & Reporting*Prepare and manage monthly management accounts for both sites.
*Deliver accurate P&L reporting, variance analysis, and clear commentary.
*Support budgeting, forecasting, and regular financial reviews.
*Identify risks, opportunities, and drive improvements in financial reporting.
Stock, Costing & Operational Finance*Oversee stock accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
*Understand production processes, stock flows, and cost drivers.
*Support standard costing and conduct margin and cost analysis.
*Partner with operational teams to review and control costs.
Intercompany / Intersite Accounting*Reconcile and manage internal movements between sites.
*Maintain oversight of transfers, cost allocations, and intersite transactions.
Business Partnering*Build strong relationships across Operations, Commercial, and wider business functions.
*Present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
*Provide insight to support performance, efficiency, and decision-making.
Systems, Data & ERP*Support ERP implementation and ongoing system enhancements.
*Use Excel confidently for analysis, modelling, and investigation.

The Person
*Ideally fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
*Experience within manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environments is highly desirable.
*Strong understanding of stock, costing, and operational finance.
*Commercially curious, analytical, and proactive.
*Excellent communicator capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
*Hands-on, team-oriented, and eager to contribute to a developing finance function.
