A well-respected manufacturing firm in East Lothian is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to provide vital support during a high-volume year-end period. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, established finance team and make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
You will play a hands-on role across a variety of finance tasks, including:
*Accounts Payable: processing invoices, matching, batching, coding and payment runs
*Accounts Receivable: raising invoices, allocating payments, reconciling customer accounts
*Journals: preparing and posting journals as required
*Audit Support: assisting with documentation, reconciliations, and audit queries
*Managing Queries: acting as the first point of contact for internal and external finance queries
*Team Support: providing day-to-day assistance to the Finance Manager and Head of Finance
About You

*Previous experience in a busy finance environment
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Good knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
