Job Description:
Our client is a World leader in the manufacture and distribution of DIY & Trade products; they currently have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the team in the South of England.
The Role
You’ll play a crucial role within the sales team, liaising with merchants at branch level and communicating orders and information to the National Accounts and Field Sales teams.
*Identify & develop opportunities within builder’s merchant chains (branch level)
*Support sales & merchandising teams to maximise opportunities and product coverage
*Support product visibility and availability
*Call on branches on a regular call-cycle basis
*Represent the organisation at trade fairs, events and forums
The Candidate
*Proven field sales experience
*Key track record of success
*Previous experience working at merchant level – Jewsons, Huws Gray, Selco
*Previous experience within the buying groups – NMBS, Fortis etc
*Full UK Drivers license
