SEN Teacher Huddersfield
Location: Huddersfield
Start Date: Flexible After Easter or September
Contract: Full(Longor Permanent)
Pay Rate: GBP140GBP220 per day (dependent on experience and qualification)

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Huddersfield. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to helping pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping positive learning experiences and creating a nurturing environment tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEND (e.g., ASC, MLD, SEMH, ADHD).
Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, therapists, and families.
Adapt teaching strategies to support EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Track and assess progress, providing clear and effective feedback.
Foster strong relationships built on trust, patience, and consistency.
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with SEND pupils in mainstream or specialist settings.
Strong behaviourskills and a calm, proactive approach.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
A nurturing, resilient, and adaptable teaching style.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
