Shift Pattern: 46.40 Hour Night Shift - 18.00 to 06.00 Monday - Thursday  
Salary: £22.98 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)

Opportunity Summary:

We have a vacancy for a Setter/Operator – CNC Miller.

Role Accountabilities: 
*Use and control of CNC programs in accordance with relevant procedures.
*Ability to read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation.
*Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, datum setting and tool length and wear offsets.
*Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
*Working as a team to maximise machine utilisation.
*Working to structured manufacturing plan.
*Responsible for setting and operating a 3-5 Axis CNC Milling/Turning Machines.
*Responsible for quality output.
*Responsible for Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM).
*Capable of using measuring equipment such as micrometers, Vernier Callipers, Height Towers, Shadow Graphs, CMM etc.

Person Specification:
*5 years’ experience in the Aerospace/Automotive Industry in a similar role.
*Apprentice trained – preferred or demonstrated relevant experience.
*Working to production timelines in a manufacturing environment.
*Working with SOPs and Company specific documentation.
*Self-driven, results orientated, with a positive outlook.
*Able to get on with others and be a team-player.
*Attention to detail and accuracy at all times.
*Working to deadlines.
*Managing workload effectively, prioritising where necessary.
