Job Description:
Our client, a leading business in the Financial Services industry is seeking a Senior Compliance Advisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to an exciting period of growth and change, our client is looking to add a Senior Compliance Advisor to the department, where you will be responsible for supporting on all matters of compliance advisory, providing solutions-based support to the business whilst advising on regulatory matters.
The successful candidate must have a background and experience in consumer lending, the Consumer Credit Act and Consumer Duty regulations.
Due to the location of the office candidates will be required to drive / have access to a vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide compliance advice and guidance to the business in relation to all matters of regulatory compliance, particularly consumer credit, consumer duty and the FCA handbook
*Act as the first point of escalation for any compliancerelated queries
*Lead on regulatory change implementation across the business, providing critical compliance advice on required changes
*Develop and deliver inperson compliance training
*Ensure all compliance policies are maintained and updated accordingly
*Escalate any compliance issues or risks to senior management when required
*Ensure you are regularly updating your FCA handbook knowledge and regulatory requirements
Key Experience:
*Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Compliance within an FCA environment
*Solid knowledge of FCA regulations and requirements
*Solid understanding of Consumer Credit and Consumer Duty principles
*Confident acting as an escalation point for any compliancerelated queries
*Highlevel of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
*Proven experience writing detailed policies and procedures, regulatory updates and breach reports
*Excellent communicator, confident liaising with colleagues and clients of all levels across the business
*Ability to work both independently and as part of the wider team
