Description
Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest practical solutions.As an Audit Semi Senior, you’ll play an integral role in delivering audits for a broad mix of SMEs, groups, and fast-growing businesses. You’ll be involved across all stages of audit assignments, from planning through to fieldwork and completion, supported by experienced seniors and managers who will help you build your technical and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities* Assist with planning, risk assessment, and audit testing
* Complete audit fieldwork on a range of SME and group clients
* Prepare working papers to a high standard
* Support seniors and managers in delivering efficient, high-quality audits
* Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve queries
* Work collaboratively with the wider team, contributing to a positive audit culture
* Ensure compliance with audit standards and internal quality processes
* Progress your studies and participate in ongoing technical training
Profile
A successful Audit Semi Senior should have:
* ACA/ACCA part-qualified or actively studying
* Experience working within an audit role in practice
* Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with clients
* Good organisational ability and attention to detail
* Motivated to develop, learn and take on more responsibility
* Enjoys working as part of a supportive, close-knit team
* Able to commute to the Leeds city centre office
