Grass Cutter

We’re looking for Grass cutters / Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our client’s team in Tavistock, helping to keep neighbourhoods clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves hands-on outdoor work, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and takes pride in delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services.

Your Responsibilities

You’ll be involved in a wide range of outdoor tasks, including:

*Cutting grass and strimming across housing estates and communal areas

*Trimming hedges, maintaining shrubs, and general grounds upkeep

*Litter picking to keep public spaces clean and safe

*Planting seasonal flowers, trees, and other greenery

*Assisting with wider landscaping and environmental improvement projects

*Operating grounds maintenance machinery such as mowers, strimmers and blowers


What We’re Looking For


*Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or similar outdoor roles (preferred but not essential)

*A full UK driving licence if you’re not based locally to Tavistock

*Someone dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working in all weather conditions

*Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

*Good awareness of health and safety practices
