Credit Controller
6-month FTC
£31,000 pro rota
Chertsey, Hybrid ( 1 day a week from home)

Are you detail-oriented, confident working with numbers, and motivated by solving problems?
We are working with a well-established, global tech business to recruit a Credit Controller on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to build experience within a fast-paced, international environment where each day brings new challenges.
Our client is a major player in IT workplace solutions, operating on a global scale and supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries. With continued expansion, they are looking to strengthen their team by bringing in a proactive and organised professional who can contribute to both credit control and broader administrative support.
The Role
As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts and ensuring the smooth running of the credit control function.
*Resolve outstanding account queries directly with customers
*Monitor and manage outstanding invoices and follow up with customers regarding overdue payments
*Allocate incoming payments to appropriate accounts and reconcile discrepancies
*Upload invoices to customer portals
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers
*Manage unallocated payments and process refunds
*Conduct credit checks for new and existing customers
*Preparing legal documentation where required
*Update direct debit mandates and maintain accurate records
*Assist with general ad hoc administration to internal teams
The Candidate
*Must have a Full UK Drivers Licence
*Experience in Oracle and ServiceNow is advantageous but not essential
*Highly detail-oriented with strong numerical skills
*A confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
*Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
*A proactive problem-solver who can think on their feet
