Job Description:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
*Managing and reconciling six GBP bank accounts with high transaction volumes
*Preparing and submitting straightforward monthly VAT returns
*Handling credit control, emailing and chasing outstanding payments
*Generating, printing, and distributing sales invoices across the organisation
*Completing balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals and prepayments
*Uploading journals and maintaining accurate financial records
*Reconciling company credit card accounts
*Importing banking transactions into NetSuite and working extensively in Excel
*Supporting accounts payable, including occasional ad hoc payments
*Assisting with payroll data input and providing general payroll support
What you will need:
*Previous experience in a similar finance role (Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Clerk, or similar)
*Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, handling large spreadsheets)
*Experience with NetSuite or similar finance systems
*A proactive, independent approach- you’re comfortable working solo and taking initiative
*Eagerness to learn and absorb new information
*A steady, reliable attitude- you’re the person who gets things done
