Payroll Administrator
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Brighton - Only 2 days onsite
Employment type: 12-month FTC
Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator looking for a new challenge in a supportive and professional environment? We are a well-established payroll bureau in Brighton, and we’re seeking a motivated Payroll Administrator to join our growing team.
What you’ll be doing:
*Managing end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients.
*Ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK legislation, HMRC, and pension auto-enrolment.
*Handling client queries promptly and professionally.
*Processing statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.).
*Supporting colleagues and contributing to continuous improvements in processes.
What we’re looking for:
*Previous experience in a payroll role (bureau experience is desirable but not essential).
*Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
*Confident communicator with the ability to build positive client relationships.
*Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
What we offer:
*Salary up to £29,000 (depending on experience).
*37.5 hours per week with hybrid working - just 2 days a week in our Brighton office.
