Skilled Baker
Job Title – Skilled Baker (Late Shift)
Location – Wimbledon, London
Salary – £30,000 – £34,000 + Overtime
Shift – 8-hour shifts starting at 1pm or 3pm (40 hours per week)
Job Role of the Skilled Baker
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Skilled Baker to join a busy and well-established bakery operation in London. This is a great opportunity to work within a high-volume, fast-paced production environment that prides itself on producing consistently high-quality baked goods.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the daily production of burger buns, breads, and pastries, working with modern bakery equipment and maintaining excellent production standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Baking a range of breads and pastries to a high standard
*Hand moulding, mixing, and oven work
*Operating machinery including mixers, conveyors, weighing machines, and moulding equipment
*Working collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth operations
*Maintaining hygiene, cleaning, and safety standards
*Minimising waste while ensuring consistent product quality
*Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors
Sector – Food Manufacturing
Non-Negotiable Requirements
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in a large-scale bakery environment
*Strong experience in hand moulding, mixing, and oven work
Requirements for the Skilled Baker
*Hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
*Strong teamwork and communication skills
*Ability to meet production deadlines
*Self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail
*Takes pride in producing high-quality products
The Skilled Baker Will Benefit From
