Job Description:
We’re thrilled to be recruiting for this well established School based in High Wycombe who are looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant.
This is a highly attractive opportunity with hours flexible to 25 -30 hours per week 5 days a week.
The ideal candidate will have an all rounds finance background with a specific focus on sales ledger and credit control.
They are looking for a relationship builder, who will be able to interact with parents and also commercial businesses who they interact with for alternative revenue streams.
Its a great environment and has a good team culture.
Day to day duties include:
*Reconciliation of the bank accounts and dealing with any queries or issues that may arise.
*Responsible for managing and administering financial elements of the School Trips and Educations Visits process through the system. Liaising with trip leaders to assist with the trips process.
*Administrating of the Stripe payment system.
*Processing and allocating payments, reconciliation of the Stripe Bank account
*Analysing and calculating the profit or loss made on each trip or visit.
*Analysing and calculating the profit or loss made on each school production.
*Processing of disbursements.
*Assisting fee invoice run.
*Month End reconciliations of all bank accounts,
*Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
*Manage the Credit Control function including chasing late payments, issuing reminder and ’bursar’ letters and providing weekly debtor reports to the Finance Manager. Updating debtor records as required to ensure all records are kept up to date.
*Provide support to the Finance Manager in preparation for, and during the annual finance audit.
*Undertaking any other ad hoc duties which may reasonably be required by the Finance Manager
