We are working with a leading company based in the Newbury area who is looking to hire a Risk & Compliance Assistant. We are looking for with strong administrative skills who is interested in developing a career in risk and compliance within a supportive, collaborative and regulated professional environment.
The Risk & Compliance Assistant will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Risk & Compliance team, helping to ensure that core compliance processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and consistently across the firm.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Conducting ID checks, client due diligence and file administration to support compliant client onboarding
*Preparing monthly trend reports
*Managing and actioning compliance requests in a timely manner
*Reviewing monitored clients
*Monitoring the Compliance Task list and ensuring outstanding actions are progressed and resolved
*Identifying duplicate entities and ensure records are merged or deleted where appropriate
*Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Risk & Compliance function
We are looking for someone who is organised, accurate and keen to build their knowledge in a compliance-focused role.
You will ideally have:
*Previous administrative or assistant experience, ideally within a professional services or regulated environment
*An interest in risk, compliance or regulatory work (any experience in this would be an advantage)
*Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
*Good time management and organisational skills
*A willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge
*Confidence using Microsoft Office and internal systems
The salary for the role is negotiable on experience but we envisage this to be in the region of £28,000 - £30,000 plus great benefits and career development opportunities!
