To provide a proactive and responsive damp and mould investigation service across residential housing, ensuring homes are safe, healthy, and compliant with statutory requirements. You will deliver expert diagnosis, technical advice, and detailed works specifications to ensure damp and mould cases are resolved effectively, with a clear focus on resident wellbeing and compliance with the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS), the Social Housing (Regulation) Act, Decent Homes, and Awaab’s Law.

Key ResponsibilitiesInspections & Diagnostic Assessments*Carry out timely surveys of homes reporting damp, mould, leaks, or condensation.
*Diagnose root causes including structural defects, water ingress, ventilation issues, insulation failures, or lifestyle-related factors.
*Use diagnostic tools such as moisture meters, hygrometers, and thermal imaging equipment.
*Prioritise high-risk cases, including those involving vulnerable residents.
