The role will be based in the office, with the firm open to consider both full-time or part-time candidates.


Responsibilities:
The firm is looking to recruit a bookkeeper to provide core support to the practice. The role will focus primarily on bookkeeping, payroll and VAT work across a varied portfolio of SME clients. There is also scope, depending on experience, to get involved in accounts preparation and some tax-related work in the future.
*Day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients
*Processing sales and purchase ledgers
*Bank reconciliations
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns
*Processing payroll for clients
*Supporting the wider team where required
*Potential involvement in accounts and tax work (longer-term)
Software Used:
